We are honoured and excited to welcome Rabbi Tirzah Firestone—renowned teacher, author, and psychotherapist—for a deeply transformative Shabbaton devoted to healing across generations.

Drawing on the insights of her groundbreaking work, Wounds into Wisdom, Rabbi Tirzah brings a rare and extraordinary capacity to guide individuals and communities through the sacred work of transforming inherited pain into sources of strength, clarity, and compassion. As a gifted spiritual guide and facilitator, she weaves together Jewish wisdom, psychological insight, and embodied practice in ways that are both deeply accessible and profoundly healing.

Jewish tradition has long recognized that we inherit not only the blessings of our ancestors, but also the imprints of their unhealed wounds. While these legacies can offer resilience and meaning, they can also shape us in ways that keep us reactive rather than reflective. The work of ancestral healing invites us to meet these inheritances with awareness, tenderness, and courage—so that what has been carried unconsciously can be transformed into wisdom.

Over the course of this experiential Shabbaton, Reb Tirzah will lead us on a rich and engaging journey through story, guided meditation, and real-life case studies from around the world. Together, we will explore what Viktor Frankl described as our “uniquely human potential to transform personal tragedy into triumph.”
