Mi Dor L'Dor: From Generation to Generation Accessing Ancestral Wisdom for Healing and Joy

Hosted by Shaarei Shamayim

In person at First Unitarian Society in Madison, WI

Since 2007, Shaarei Shamayim has hosted a Renewal Shabbaton every two years or so to learn and celebrate the world of Jewish spirituality and Jewish Renewal. On Friday April 24th, we will nosh together at 6:30pm and then have a Kabbalat Shabbat service from 7-9pm in which we will gather together with prayers and melodies to open our hearts, and stories and meditation that illustrate the profound influence that our ancestors’ legacies have upon us. On Saturday, I will teach a Hasidic text as a springboard for a guided imaginal meditation into the Olam haAvot, the ancestral dimension, where we can experience healing and strengthening of purpose.
