Temple Beth El1351 South 14th AvenueHollywood, FL, 33020United States (map)

This event is especially geared for therapists, educators, social workers, and clergy and those that work with Holocaust survivors including the Children and Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors. Drawing from her research in neuroscience and depth psychology, Rabbi Dr. Firestone will focus this important talk to educators and caregivers to skillfully approach the field of trauma and those with extreme life circumstances. How do we identify trauma symptoms? What are best practices to avoid “second-hand trauma”? How do we understand and begin to heal intergenerational wounds? Join us for an amazing event!  Contact Kim Lerner with any questions.

This event is part of a series: The Institute of Jewish Knowledge and Learning (IJKL) is hosting Rabbi Dr. Tirzah Firestone in Florida, from Shabbat, January 18 through January 22.
