Last year’s Center for Action and Contemplation gathering, “What Do I Do with My Anger?” created a powerful space for honest reflection during a time of uncertainty and outrage. This year, we return to that shared inquiry by turning toward another universal, often unspoken human experience: sorrow.
This event explores how grief, loss, and vulnerability shape our inner lives — and how they might guide us toward deeper compassion, clarity, and connection in troubling times. This live virtual conversation with CAC Core Faculty James Finley and special guest Rabbi Tirzah Firestone will guide us into a contemplative exploration of sorrow as both a personal and collective journey. Their conversation will allow for reflection on the sacred meaning carried within our shared sorrow and the transformative power of embracing our tears in this current historical moment.
